7-13 May is also "Deaf Awareness Week".
As always, there are lots of workshops and conferences happening to address eduational issues. Many of these are held on a repeating basis (several times per year). Promoting awareness of disability issues, Raising achievement, Counselling troubled kids, and Inclusion of kids with Downs Syndrome,
