Can You Find The Y Values For X=-2,-1,0,1,2,3 If Y =x^-x-2?

Find the y values for x=-2,-1,0,1,2,3 if y=x^-x-2.

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Y=x^-x-2

    For x=-2
    y=(-2)^-(-2)-2
    =(-2)^2-2
    =4-2

    =2

    For x=-1

    y=(-1)^-(-1)-2

    =(-1)^1-2

    =-1-2

    =-3

    For x=0

    y=(0)^-(0)-2

    =(0)^0-2

    =1-2

    =-1

    For x=1

    y=(1)^-(1)-2

    =(1)^-1-2
    =(1/(1)^1) -2

    =1-2

    =-1

    For x=2

    y=(2)^-(2)-2

    =(2)^-2-2

    =(1/(2)^2)-2

    =1/4-2
    =(1-8)/4

    =-7/4

    For x=3

    y=(3)^-(3)-2

    =(3)^-3-2

    =(1/(3)^3)-2
    =1/27-2
    =1-54/27

    =-53/27

    if equation is Y=x^2-x-2 then please check this answer.
