Answer Question

An over is 6 consecutive bowls to the batsman. After an over is bowled the bowler must take a fielding position and a change of bowlers must take place.

Overs are also a convenient way to determine the length of matches.  For example, one-day games are also referred to as "Limited Overs" - usually 50 per side.
