I Have Had A Full Driving Licence Since 1987. Can I Drive A 7.5T Vehicle?

I am looking for a job. There always seem to be plenty of adverts for 7.5T drivers. Also not sure what size vehicle would be classed as 7.5T

This really depends on which jurisdiction issued you a driving license. In New York, a Class 'D' license will make you eligible to drive either a passenger vehicle or a truck, weighing no more than 26,000lbs. If you happen to live in the United Kingdom, you will need a Category 'C' license in order to drive a vehicle that weighs more than 3,500kg. In most cases, it is not the number of years that you have held a license which makes you eligible to drive a certain type of vehicle, but your category type.
