Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

An affirmative action is basically a kind of policy or a program, which in turn takes steps to develop the representation of various assigned groups, which in turn seek to redress any kind of discrimination or even bias. This is done by taking active measures, in terms of education as well as employment.

Some of the groups who are made the gunpoint target are mainly distinguished by by race, gender, ethnicity, or disability status. For example, in South Africa it is based on race and to a lesser extent on gender basis.
