The pressure of blood in arteries is high because the blood
is pushed out of the heart into the arteries. As the arteries are the 1
st
one to get the blood direct from the heart, thus has highest pressure

Blood pressure in all arteries except Pulmonary artery is high. In Pulmonary artery, the blood pressure is low.
