Continue to have your 3 meals a day ..just make the portions smaller..cut out fatty foods(fried)..and very importantly, exercise.

Don't skip meals to diet. Eating a very healthy diet that includes lots of vegetables (cooked and raw), lots of fruits, and whole grains and beans, will help you feel very full. If you keep refined carbs (like non-whole-wheat bread or white rice), refined sugars (including honey), and refined fats (like oil or butter, as opposed to natural fats found in nuts and seeds) to the barest minimum you can, you will consume fewer calories and lose weight easily. A book called Eat To Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman has more details. I lost 16 pounds in two weeks this way last fall (which has stayed off), I was never hungry, and since I'm sticking with it, I have more energy, get sick less, and have less severe allergies. It's all about health -- the weight loss is a welcome side effect. And it's not all or nothing. Give it a try, and you won't be sorry.
