What Is A Line Of Red Diamonds On An Ordnance Survey Map?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

You can find these on a 1: 50 000 scale map. They indicate:

National Trail, European Long Distance Route, Long Distance Route and selected recreational routes.

You can find an example on the website at:

    www.ordnance survey.co.uk/a>

Routes like the Cotswold Way, or the Pilgrim's Way in Kent and Sussex, should display these symbols on the new maps.

National cycle routes have green circles.
