How Do I Go About Transferring From Texas Medicaid To Georgia Medicaid?
I have Texas Medicaid, and live at home with my husband, who can no longer care for me. I need to go into a Nursing Home. Want to move to Georgia, and enter a Nursing Home. How do I make the transfer from Texas Medicaid to Georgia Medicaid?

Your best answer will come from the Medicade office. I believe Medicade is the same in all states so treatment can be given if needed. If you enter a Nursing Home, they can inform you if there are things you need to take care of, but I don't think you have to really do a lot. Call medicade and tell them of your plans. They have people that are trained to assist you. Best wishes
