What Is A Commune?

    Commune is derived from the Middle English word, "comunen", which means, 'to have common dealings with'. Whereas, in Old French the word is "communer", which means to make something common or even to share.

    Commune is applicable to numerous things such as it is known as Municipality in number of parts of European and African countries and it is also known as Comune in Italy. It is considered as the lowest level of administrative section in France. And also a social organization in the middle ages of Europe.

    The word commune is referred to as a comparatively little and a rural group of people whose members contribute to some kind of widespread interests, work, and profits.

    Some of the most well known commune is Paris Commune, Shanghai Commune and Pinnacle Commune.
