I am not home that often, because I am always at dance. So I don't know when my pet4 cat Simba goes to the restroom. So I was wondering how often do you have to clean a cat's litter box?

Depending on the size of the litter box it could be as often as every other day or up to once a week. A good rule of thumb is to look at the box and ask yourself if there is enough clean areas so that the cat does not have to stand in used litter. This will ensure your cat has a sanitary place to go and that the cat is not tracking unwanted waste around your home.

Cats are very picky animals and though they are meticulously clean, they also expect you to be as well. For just one cat the box should be scooped at least every other day. If you have more than one cat then more than one box is best. Using the scoopable kitty litter makes a big difference too.
