Should Juveniles Before Age 18 Get The Death Penalty?

Answer Question

In my opinion, no. Separate from that, no one should get the death penalty, but certainly not children.

Mainly because, to me, the idea that the court can decide after the crime whether or not you are going to be "tried as an adult" (which really means "punished as an adult even though you are not legally an adult") is really twisting the law. What is the point of legal adulthood if the court can take it away from you and say "we changed our mind"?

Before you know it they will be telling us that 15 year olds can be sent off to war "as an adult".
