Why Is Conservation Of Forests Important?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Deforestation affects the climate and leads to ecological
imbalance. Over the years forests have been cleared for construction of
factories, dams, houses and for agricultural purposes. The increasing
population has severely depleted the forest. We need to conserve our forest
and natural resources. Another way to protect the environment is through
water and energy conservation. It starts at home. Fix leaky faucets and
sprinklers; turn off the faucet when you brush your teeth, direct grey water
to the garden, switch to CFL
light bulbs, turn off the heater and other electrical appliances when you are
not at home etc. Check out this link
