There are numerous sources for those looking for information about working from home. Websites such as homeworking.com or workingfromhome.co.uk are dedicated to giving advice to those considering a career working at home.
There are certain important guidelines that should be considered when thinking about such a career. Firstly, it is easy to be sucked in by adverts in newspapers and magazines offering 'piece work' for apparently respectable salaries. These are generally fraudulent. Companies who genuinely employ workers to do jobs like these almost always have a waiting list, and therefore do not need to advertise. Similarly, any advert which asks you to pay to join the scheme is almost certainly a scam.
It should also be remembered that homeworkers are still entitled to the National Minimum Wage. Your employer should pay you at least the minimum wage for all the hours you do or, if you are doing piece work, for 120% of the hours it would take a normal employee to do your job. This ensures that all but the slowest workers are paid a decent wage, while those who are not capable of doing the job in the required time tend to be dropped.

Try searching on the internet for "work at home" or any variation of that; look in the classifieds of job sites. But be careful; don't send money or sign up for anything without thoroughly checking out the company. Look at not only the initial investments but how much it may cost you before people typically receive money back on their investment in the business. I looked for a long time before I found one that was right for me. Best of luck to you
