I've actually heard that they can grow hair on their tails and fine hairs on their bodies. Taking care of a new kitten can be quite exciting, but I wouldn't worry about your kitten growing some fine hairs.

Sphynx Cats are hairless breed. These are not truly hairless cats because these have very soft hairs. As these cats are hairless so to keep warm, they cuddle up with peoples and other animals. They have wedge shaped head and heavy bodies.
If your Sphynx Cats has develop hairs on the tail then it is not unusual. It is possible. This is called lion tail in which puff of hairs on the tip of tail is present.

As a Sphynx owner I can report that some Sphynxes can and do grow a tuft of hair on the end of their tail as well as on their feet, face and genitals. All normal and nothing to worry about. It won't be like normal fur though, more like baby hair!
