Zagreb is the Capital City of the Croatia. The Croatian economy is growing very smoothly. The tourism industry is very flourishing due to its natural beautiful environment. The Gross Domestic Product is continuously decreasing with the ratio of 4.3 percent, 3.7 percent and 3.4 percent. The success of this country is that it has controlled the inflation in the country. The Croatia government has taken certain steps for the growth of economy one of them is privatization and relaxes polices and tax relaxation for attracting large number of investment.
It has entered in the World Trade Organization in 2000 and entered in contract with the European Union. The country is still facing high unemployment rates and deficit in public finances. The contribution of the agriculture sector is 10 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. The main items of the agriculture sector are wheat, sugar beet, corn, fruits, wine and olive oil. The economy's stake is also one the pillars of wood industry. The country has few mineral resources. The manufacturing industry is based on the iron, steel, food processing, textile and wood sector.
