What Advantages Are There For Cloning?
If not advantages , what would be disadvantages of cloning?
1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating
You could get alot of answers for this because cloning is not just about scientific matters. There are moral issues involved in cloning too.
1. Obviously the biggest one is non-extinction of a species. If we clone then we won't lose it.
2. Reproduction of an organ to save lives. (example - if someone needs a new heart or lung)
3. Cloning can help scientists study and possibly correct faulty genetic codes.
Many of the advantages that we hear about today circle around to 1 and 2 above.
I hope this helps - I won't touch on the moral or philosophical arguments on cloning.
