I Need A Secured Loan Fast But Doesn't This Type Of Loan Take Longer To Get?
Answers
It's true that a lender will generally take longer to approve a secured loan than an unsecured one. This is because the lender you approach for a secured loan will be looking at your guarantee to check that it's worth what you say it is and worth enough for them to give you the secured loan you're after. This said, lenders still vary greatly in how long they'll take to give you a secured loan and, with some shopping around, it should be possible for you to find a loan company which will push through your secured loan application quickly if you need to get your hands on the loan money as soon as possible. But bear in mind that most loan companies will claim a fast turnaround anyway if that's what you're asking them for and many will offer you 'a decision in minutes' - but fast approval may not necessarily equal fast delivery of the loan to you. You'd be advised to find out precisely how 'fast' the loan will really be before signing on the dotted line.
