How Do You Install A Off-air HD Antenna To A LCD Tv That Doesnt Have An Hd Set Box?
I don't have an hd set top box and would like to know how to install the antenna to a LCD tv that has only one RF input.

I am in an area where there is no cable or DSL available and I am to cheap to do the satellite thing. I have a smaller LCD TV that is HD capable as well. There are like 6 inputs (HDMI, Component, VGA and Coax). Coax is the RF input. I purchased a digital antenna, connected the output of the antenna to the coax input of the TV. I now get channels that I didn't know existed and all of them come through in the standard analog signal and a digital signal. Some of the digital stations also transmit things in HD and the picture is just awesome.

Note: If you do not have a digital tuner in your set you will need to get an analog converter box soon to be available in March for around $75. You can get a $40 off coupon from the govt towards it. It's good for 90days.
Welcome to the club! I haven't had cable or satellite in decades. I use my rooftop antenna but you can use rabbit ears it doesn't matter. Look for the input that says "AIR". That will be your 'ole fashioned antenna input. If you have a roof antenna and can rotate it you'll pull in many more FREE channels. Assuming you have a digital TUNER built in your LCD set you won't be affected by next February's blackout of Analog TV signals.
