Answer Question

It was a law which was introduced by the Gordon Moore in 1965, who was also the founder of the Intel Company. According to his law "at ever year, the number or amount of transistors, which are hardwired on a single chip, will be increase in a double amount." And this thing would be happen every year. This law worked for so much time until 1970 but the transistors increment was not occurred in one year, it was happen in 18 months. This law was failed but still it is in use. It was a goog law.

Because of this law the cost of the chip was become very less. The speed was increased after using this law, because the components was placed closer together, the electrical path length is shortened, so as a result the operation were faster. And also the size of the chips was become small.

As they used small components so there come the small size computers. For these small computers and chip low power was need and also the less cooling required as compared to the previous big cooling rooms. There was extra circuitry on a solo chip, and there was reliable interconnection within the IC.
