What Is Carbonated Water?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Carbonated Water better known as soda water, sparkling water, fizzy water, club soda, etc, basically is plain water in which carbon dioxide gas has been mixed.

The course of liquefying carbon dioxide gas is known as carbonation. It concludes in the creation of carbonic acid. Initially, soda water was created in homes by "charging" a refillable seltzer bottle by filling it up with water and later mixing carbon dioxide to it. Club soda usually is similar to simple carbonated water but occasionally might have small quantities of table salt, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, etc.

Carbonated water is extremely important for getting rid of stains, like coffee stains which appear on mugs. The main reason for its efficiency in this section is the bubbling effect removes stains in a similar manner like detergent bubbling does.
