As opposed to blue icees and caramelcorn? Of course we should force them to eat nutritious food, no matter how bland it is.

What do you mean by "eat nutrition"? Some foods are just more nutritious than others...for instance, carrots are better than cheez its, even though they're the same color...that's what we have to teach our kids!

Children should be taught by their guardians to eat healthy. Expecting a child to make these decisions on their own is not wise. Children should be taught about the basics of a good diet. I cannot tell you how many times i see fast food stores full of little children eating saturated fat and drinking corn syrup drinks. That is not a good diet for anyone.

Let kids have fun and enjoy treats, of course, but keep them on a healthy baseline.
