Do You Think That Blurtit Has Ruined This Site By Eliminating The Debate Section?
I know it's still on the site (for reading only), but that was the main reason I found this site to be interesting. Without debates I find this site to be a total waste of time.

I disagree with your last sentence of the explanation. This site isn't at all a waste of time.
About the debates, in my opinion, this site was much much more entertaining when the debates were available!

Thanks for the reply. The last sentence was my opinion of what the site has become. I did not expect to convince anyone to think the same as me, but was just letting everyone know how I came to word the question in the way that I did.
You started a debate a few months back that I found to be quite interesting, (Soon Learnt, Soon Forgotten). I could not quite figure out on which side to place my answer.

I know that everyone has his own opinion.. Yeah whatever!
And that "What was learnt is what is left after what was taught has been forgotten." is a very nice sentence which I hear for the first time!

Not totally ruined but certainly took a large chunk out of the purpose for a lot people being able to voice their opinion and it was something other sites do not offer and was the leading site and is now losing ground because of no longer offering the debate portion of the site,other sites are luring people from this site and they give no explanation for taking that feature away....

I very deeply miss the debates, and don't know how they can say that they are going to add things that will improve the site after taking away what every one loved so much. Bummer.
