What Can I Do Kitten With Eye Infection?

Answer Question

You need to go to a vet and have the actual cause diagnosed and treated properly or the kitty can have big problems. Often it is a sign of herpes or a URI (can lead to pneumonia or can be sign of some serious disease and illness) or something very serious and is very painful and can cause even more serious problems when not diagnosed and treated properly.  Any time our pets have problems with their eyes it must be seen or treated by a vet otherwise the consequences to them can be dire (can include blindness, eyes needing to be removed, popping out and exploding from infection, and many things in between to death depending on the problem).

I tried the green tea teabag and it worked for my kitten!  I boiled it, let it cool down then squeezed it into a paper towel which i squeezed into her eye and it got rid of her infection and it's been over a week now!

I have found with my cats, the only thing you can do with an eye infection is get medicine from the vet. If you have a regular vet you may be able to talk him into giving you a prescription without seeing the cat, but usually they want to see them, which involves an office call.
