Is A Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 500 GB A Good Hard Drive?
Model # isWD5000H1U-00. I've been reading reviews and the seem to be either very bad or very good. I'm hoping to find someone with first hand knowledge. I'll be running it off of Windows Visa Home Premium. Any help would be great.

I've heard "My Book" suffers from a very poor ventilation design and can't get heat out of the unit very well. They burn up.
