There are different reason which can cause to the termination and the revocation of an offer. The first reason for the termination of the offer is the notice of the revocation.  If the offeror can close or terminate his offer at any time by just sending the letter or document of the termination of an offer to the offeree then the offer is said to be revoked or terminated. So there is a time period for the revocation of the offer an offeror can terminate his offer given to the offeree at any time before the acceptance of the offeree. So this is the legal status of the termination of an offer. So in such a situation there will be no contract between the offeror and offeree.

There is another factor which is important in the termination of the offer, which is the lapse of time. If the offeror makes an offer to the offeree and put a condition that if the offeree will accept his offer within a specified date then the offer must respond about his willingness positively and negatively. If after a specified time period which is given by the offeror has passed then the offer is considered terminated and the offeree has no right to claim after a certain period of time. Thus the offer is said to be terminated.

Offer can be revoke before acceptance, revocation must be communicated with offeree.
