This is the second book in the great depression series. This book continues from where the first book titled meet kit has left off. Here the Kitteredge family are still trying to get use to the boarders that are living in their house. While the mother is trying her best to organise everything in the boarding and trying to have a smooth functioning kit has to learn and do the basic chores of the house. However she still believes that her father within no time is going to get a job thereby all this trouble will be rid of within a week.

But that's when she receives an eye opener when she visits the soup kitchen where she meets people who are in a much worse condition than her family.
This book is a children's book and is a must for your child to imbibe in them important values and at the same time teaching them important effects of the great Depression.
