What Are Foods High In Protein?

    Meats are the highest, as they are a complete protein, with the exception of soy products, apparently the only vegetarian item which is a complete protein.  Otherwise, beans, lentils, etc. Very high but have to be eaten in combination with another vegetable or legume, like peas and rice, to form a complete protein.  Many vegetables are high in protein, but cannot be absorbed as they are what they call incomplete.  Have to be combined

    Also, eggs and dairy as they are animal products, like cheese and often a substitute for meat
