This Question Is Answered:
What Is The Weight [how Many US Pounds] For A Gallon Of Fuel [boat]? Is It The Same As A Gallon Of Water?
We are trying to determine the full weight of a vessel, and already know the net weight. We can determine the fuel tank size, and would just need the weight of fuel to complete our equation. Thanks!

The specific gravity of vehicle gasoline is 0.739 while the specific gravity of pure water is 1.0. If one gallon of water weighs 8.345 lbs then one gallon of gasoline weighs 8.345 times 0.739 or 6.166 lbs.
