One unit at a time, unless you donate just the blood platelets(but i am not sure) if i remember correctly some donors can donate certain cells by giving basically 2 pints of blood and having it filtered.returning the clear part(plasma) to the donor.double check with the red cross for information about blood donation facts....www.givelife2.org
