All i can say is, girl you are 11 years old and life is much better than ferrets but yeah i know they was your pets but just ask for a bunny or a bird instead

 Get strong air freshners.a child has to have a pet.it teaches caring and responsibilities.=]

 I think you will be fine try keeping a journal and write down how you feel and do some research on pets that don't have an offensive odor and a fairly long life span, I don't suggest a bunny, but try to talk to your parents and see if they can help you find a pet that you both can agree on. I think you will be fine just remember sometimes in life we have to do want we don't want but they can be very good lessons learned good and bad:) Sorry for your lost you will cherish your next pet even more!!!!

 If an animal is taken away of mine I usually buy a stuffed animal that looks like it, to comfort me.

 I know how it feels, I am a total animal freak!! I got a guinea pig for my birthday a couple of years ago and brought it home, I made a cage and absolutely fell in love with them, about a month later I notice when ever I picked them up and they touched my skin I broke out in hives!! I was devastated even though I knew They were going to a good home... But I had that void in my life too, so I went to a couple of pet stores learned about a ton of different animals and finally fell in love with my Simon (green checked conure) and my love for animals grew more!! I even got a diploma for a vet assistant. Even though you loose one animal and hurt your heart will always mend its self, I think you will find a new love soon, but keep your eyes open and learn about different animals and soon you will fall in love with a new one!!

 How do you clean the cage is it once a week once daily "?
You have to clean cage and their bedding, Clean bedding every week and cage and litter box every day and you wont have any smell and do not wash them every day you take away natural oil which makes their oil glands produce more and it makes to much which causes the odor, you can also change their diet you gotta feed em hi protein food like ferret diet or zupreem ferret food,
Let mom and dad know you will clean their cages and bedding and you will see dad notice there is no smell I hope they did not give them away cause if they are attached to you they will suffer depression  and sometimes die, I have 7 ferret and you can not smell them at all I clean cage every day and bedding weekly. Ii hope they give them back to you, I know how you feel my dad use to take away the stray cats and dogs I brought home but he later told me it was cause our  store and home was to close to highway and we have lost more than enough and his heart was hurting more than he wanted it to for the animals we loss ,So I forgave him.
