A Bachelor in Technology (B-Tech) is an undergraduate degree in  the United States a few other countries. Normally, this is a three year program and then a speciality of one or two years toward a Masters is undertaken. Your field of study is Electronics and Engineering, which can be applied in all types of work. All of your studies have prepared you for moving into many areas of Eletronics and Engineering, which are required in many NASA positions. However, additional education is needed to one day reach your goal.

In the NASA program such positions as Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Digital Systems, Signal Processing, Communications and Control Systems, Applications Imaging, Robotics, Remote contol of Electro-mechacnical Systems, Applicaitons of Electromagnetics and  Optical Systems in Communications are just a few of the areas for work with NASA.

One of the programs available within NASA is the Student Educational Employment Programs (SEEP). These are progams, in which students work for NASA while continuing their studies. There are two such programs, one is a temporary employment program and the other is an ongoing Cooperative Education Program (COOP), which can lead to permanent NASA employment. These two programs are called STEP.

STEP is designed to correlate students' educational studies with a wide range of work experiences. Students work with scientists and engineers in NASA facilities. There are STEP related programs such as the Stay-in-School a program for students receive payment for their work to help pay for their tuition. There are summer programs and Junior fellowships available to some students. There are a lot opportunities open to people who desire to one day work for NASA. Programs such as these open the door to a bright future to those willing to work and study to fulfill their dream.
