Answer Question

You can touch them right away as long as the mother is fine with you but dont hold them to much or they can get sick and dont keep them away from their mother too long other wise she might get angry and try to hurt you.

You wouldn't want to put your scent on new born's as the mother could reject them. Try not to handle them too much to start with.

You shouldn't because if the dog is not ok with it then she might not want to give her puppies any milk or she can actually kill them

I think it would be better off not to handle them to much in the first week of life its alot better for the pups and lets mom be mom otherwise your risking the chance that mom could reject them
