How Can I Access Shared Documents On My EMac?

    First, click on 'Finder'. Next click on 'Network' and then click on 'Servers'. This should bring up the name of the administrator i.e. the person who is in charge of the computer. The administrator is resonsible for sharing any files with other users on the computer.

    Click on the administrators name. When you have done this, click on 'Users'. Next, click on 'Shared'. This should bring up all the files which the administrator has selected to be shared with other users. You will also see names of other files that belong to the other users on your eMac. These aren't files which have been chosen to be shared, and many of them will have a small red icon with a white line in the middle, which means you cannot access them because they belong to a different user.
