In order to grow new plants out of the existing plants, you need to very careful. You need to carefully cut the plant from the place where it can grow again. Different plants have different characteristics. It is very important to know what kind of a plant you have. Plants which bear fruit or flowers have to be treated in a different manner.

Usually, plants need to be cut a little above the middle part of the stem. The plants will start growing from there. Make sure you do not cut too much otherwise the plant may not grow and eventually die. After cutting, give sufficient water and sunlight to the plant. This will help a lot in the growing process. In case, you are not too sure about it and are afraid that the plant may die. You need to consult a person and a nursery near you or you can meet a person who works at the garden centre of a departmental store.
