How Do WMA Files Play On A CD?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The term WMA is an acronym for Windows Media Audio and to some extent it is similar to MP3, but it has the distinction of having the digital rights management that makes sure about the protection of the copy and also the restriction about the users.

If you want to play it on a CD first of all you will have to burn it on an audio CD and not the one that is called the data CD. If you burn it on audio CD it will be easier for you to play the music on any kind of format. While burning you have to take care that the player is converting the files of WMA and MP3 to the PCM format or pulse code modulation format which makes it easier for the Standard CD players to play the CD.
