What Is The Dashboard For On My EMac?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The dashboard is a small icon that looks like a clock, which appears on the taskbar on your eMac. If you click on the dashboard, then four items will appear on your screen. They are:

An on-screen calculator - this is used to make calculations on your eMac.

A calendar - this tells you what day it is and provides you with the date. You can switch to different months by clicking on the arrow keys. You can also display just the day and date rather than have all the days of the month showing by clicking on the box that contains the current date.

Clock - this tells you what time it is in your area. To change the continent or city, click on the 'i' symbol in the bottom right. This will bring up some drop down boxes which you can use to select different cities and continents so that you can see what time it is in the chosen area.

Weather - this keeps you updated about the weather. You can change the area by clicking on the 'i' symbol in the top right. It also allows you to switch between celcius and fahrenheit.
