Do You Think That The U.S. Will Ever Have A Female Or African American President And Why?

The only way they are going to have one of them is when they are ready for it and accept that everyone is equal.

Yes, I believe that the US will have both a female and an african american presidentin the very near future (maybe even this election year).  Our country has come a long way over the past few years and both females and african americans have found definite places in all aspects of the work force.  Many are presidents of large companies and race and gender may still be a hurdle for many to overcome, but I believe that the majority of America has now come grips with this issue, if not, get over it!!  Our intelligence, morals, work ethics, compassion,  ability to work with others to accomplish the best for all, is neither a race nor a gender issue.  This country is in the worst moral, financial state and is despised by many on foreign soil, than it has been in a long time.  We need to concentrate on who can help this country during these troubled times the best, instead of looking to see if our next leader will be wearing a skirt or is an african american.  It is time to put our country first and our own hangups back in the closet.

Looks like we have a s"emi-black" in the Black House. And we still are not equal nor unified. I do not see that happening any time soon unless our economy gets as bad as the Great Depression then we will all be broke, still not equal!!

You've asked when America will elect a woman or black or other minority person as President.  I believe it will be very soon and that the very next President will be a woman or a black young man.  No doubt, either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama will be elected.  America is totally disgusted with the Republicans, therefore, their only Democrats to choose from now are one of the above.  I believe that Hillary is the brightest of American women, knowledgeable, wise, sensitive, strong, tough, caring (men seldom are), passionate, has a positive way to interact with anyone, any man or any Head of State in the world, that she will not preemptively start a war, will call on the strongest of women and man to serve in government, will bring God's blessings to America again...and from there to the world.  God bless Hilliary Clinton.
