Reculver is a small summer resort; it is situated around four miles to the east of Herne Bay off the North Kent Coast. It is a very popular place for tourists to visit. The main attraction of the place is the ancient ruins of the Roman Fort. This Roman fort was originally known as Regulbium. The ruins of a 14th century church 'Remains of the Reculver Church' lay on the edge of a cliff cover the Roman Fort.
