How Is Ammonia Caused?

    Ammonia is a major source of air pollution. It is one of the primary pollutants of air. Primary pollutants are those substances which are emitted as a result of a process taking place. The agricultural processes are the main cause of the emission of Ammonia into the air. More than half of the ammonia emissions are caused by the use of nitrogen fertilizers in agriculture.

    Ammonia pollutes the air and causes damages to the natural habitat including plants and animals. It pollutes the soil, water and also affects vegetation. Ammonia also causes Acidification.
