Why Would Alcohol Show Up In A Drug Test, When I Know For Sure That I Don't Drink?

I just took a urine drug test recently and it came back positive for alcohol, in a pretty high level. I don't use cough syrups, mouth washes, breath sprays or anything else with alcohol in it. I know there could have been a mistake but the people receiving the test results will not believe me, I'm sure.

The best possible solution is to take the test again. If you know that you have not taken alcohol in any form, you might get away with it next time. 2% of all the results are false and you might be among those very few.

There might be test error. Get your urine test from another laboratory again to confirm that you are positive.

Are you using homeopathic medicines? These medicines contains amounts of alcohol that can be seen in urine test. And why do you want people to believe you? If you are so sure, then don't care what people are saying.
