You have to take the full course of antibiotics for it to work.  If you do not take them your body can get resistant to antibiotics.  In any case it is not a good idea to take antibiotics unless they are absolutely essential.

No but the doctor says it is important to take them as the instructions says, 10 for 10 days or 7 for seven days etc......because depending on the type of infection you have that is how long or how many days it will take to get it completely out of your system , it may seem cleared up in less time but it is just laying dorment until such time as you stop taking the medication and you can have a relapse.....the best to you

The infection you are trying to kill always comes back if you don't finish your dose properly.
