Well my be your drive may not be able to read it, may be your CD is Scratched so it wont be able to read it, try to wash it in clean water but don't use any brush.
then try to wipe off the water with soft cloth. Wipe it from inner to outwards direction.
if still not possible to read then,
There are some tools which will help you to get back your data from BAD CD, try those.

You should fill the sink with hot water then drop the disc in. When it been in there for a minute then you drain the water. Take the disc out and dry it with a soft rag.
