Baby Parakeet 3 Weeks. Drags Its Foot. I Was Told It Was Drop Foot. What Is This?
We received a baby parakeet, 3 weeks old. It does not use one of its legs. It kind of drags itself. It can perch on one foot. Is this a critical condition? I have other birds and I was ask to clip wings for a friend with 8 new baby parakeets. I took this one home to see if I could help.

Well I have bred parakeets before and had that problem,it is called splayed legged, but it was both legs.  Now he is  and adult and is going around greater!!  I was told to there's something  around the legs or in the nesat box,but since it is only one  leg and is out of the nest box.........
Hope this can help with you little bird!!
