What Is Jazz Music?

Jazz Music has originated from America. It is an art that originated during the early beginning of the 20th century. The roots were grounded in New Orleans. Jazz was actually a blend with western music and African American music theory technique. Jazz mainly uses Bluesy notes, Swing, Syncopation, Poly Rhythms, Improvisation call and response. Jazz Music mainly gained its popularity from the year 1920 to the year 1935.

A musician by the name of Paul Whiteman was the self proclaimed 'King of Jazz'. Other famous musicians include; Roger Wolfe Kahn, Sam Lanin, Vincent Lopez, Nat Shilkret, George Olsen, Ben Bernie, Gus Arnheim, Rudy Vallee, Jean Goldkette, Ben Pollack and Fred Waring.
