Kitten Is Squinting Eye, What Could It Be?

My 9 month old Kitten has been squinting her eye since last night. Today she started tossing her head back on the same side...like she's in pain. She's slept most of the day... But even when she's sitting she'll squint & move her head up and back. It's Sunday, and all the vets around here closed at 1pm yesterday...before this occurred. I can't even make an appt until tomorrow morning.! Has anyone had this problem?! PLEASE HELP! I'm so scared for her! I don't know how to help!

What happened with this? Sounds like something happened in her head - like a stroke?

Well my cat had the same problem it started in one eye then about a week later mine had a little mucus in it. So i took him to the vet and they gave me Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment and some Panmycin Aquadrops by mouth 2 times a day. You should take him to vet because after a while it started to go to the other eye so i had to treat both eyes.
