If R Vector= ACos(theta)i +a Sin(theta)j Calculate Its Velocity?

Calculate the velocity with the help of given vector

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    We know that the velocity is rate of change of displacement, then v=dR/dt
    V=d [a Cos (theta) i+ a Sin (theta) j]/dt
    V=a [-Sin (theta). D (theta)/dt] i + a [Cos (theta). D (theta)/dt j]
    V= -a Sin (theta) w i + a Cos (theta) w j                         where w=d (theta)/dt
