    La Crescenta-Montrose basically is an unincorporated region situated in the Los Angeles County, California, surrounding those sections of the Crescenta Valley not in the cities of Glendale or La Canada Flintridge.

    Nevertheless, both the unincorporated regions are the sections of the incorporated Glendale north of Montrose are together known as La Crescenta. It shares its land borders with Angeles National Forest on the north, the La Canada Flintridge to the east, the Glendale to the south and Tujunga to the northwest.

    According to the census conducted in the year 2000 the total population of this region was estimated to be 18,532. The total area of this region is said to be around 8.9 square kilometres out of which all is land. The population density stands at 2,086.1 per square kilometre.
