Like most places i guess, people live there cause they are born there. The desert is beautiful with wide open spaces and vast distances form horizon to horizon. Some people live there for the every changing beauty and the emptiness. Others because they like the heat and the starkness. For exactly the opposite reasons others don't live there. Some because they were not born there, and others prefer a moister or a cooler climate. There are people who prefer the chaos of town or city living and people who have never really known that things could be different.

They live there because they were born there and they have no knowledge of how to get out of the mes they are in. But the egyptians do. The egyptians live in the sahera desert because in egypt its not easy to get a green card and come here or a visa. Some people have no choice but to stay like in south Africa and some can come and go as they please if the have enough money. People do not live in the sahera desert because it could be to hot for them or to poluted egypt is in the sahera desert and it is poluted. They also dont live in the desert because there is not much of a job to do there. These who do not live in the sahera desert might not like the peoples life style who do live there. So the people like the way there living. Who ever you are i hope that has answered your question.

Because they may not have enough money to buy essentials like a house that would cost themclose to 300,000 to 400,000
and they may not have a job record and because most of them would be adults they will find it hard to find a job to buy that house

Because there are some people in the world who like nature and plants and animals and are determined to go live out far in the desert and they can just hunt for animals and stuff !!!
