    There is no secret as to how Oprah loss weight but in fact she has even hosted an episode on weight loss. Oprah has worked with her personal trainer Bob Greene, who is also the author of the book "Get With The Program", to lose some great amount of weight. She avoided refined carbs completely. Her diet also followed increased lean protein, moderate healthy fats, and reduced refined carbs (not to be confused with a very-low-carb diet).

    The book written by her trainer Bob Greene is not a diet, not even a fitness book, infact he states it as a "book about moving - in the right direction. It's a book about getting real, about getting back into shape, physically and emotionally, realistically and gradually."
